In the UK, 515 plug-in vehicles were registered in August, up from 118 just twelve months ago. 234 of them were pure electric vehicles. In August 2013, it were just 71. Meanwhile, the usage of Ecotricity’s Electric Highway has quadrupled in nine months, counting 15,152 charging events in the second quarter.
