Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said in an interview with the German edition of ´Top Gear´ that there is “no escape” of building more plug-in hybrids due to regulations and social acceptance. (in German)

Carlos-Ghosn“You can’t just squeeze yourself into only electric cars or only fuel cells, because you don’t know what the regulations in different countries are going to be.”

In this TV interview, Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn talks about the future of electric mobility, saying that all automakers research technologies such as fuel cells, but that most governments have a habit of favoring one technology over another, like diesels in Europe.
