New service for FCV drivers: Kicking off with Toyota Mirai, Fujitsu started a new hydrogen station data management service, that accesses real-time information on the locations and hours of operation of hydrogen stations in Japan and sends it to FCV driver’s smartphones and car navigation systems.
Electric buses in Geneva: The Swiss city has deployed two electric 22-passenger-buses built by Italian company Breda Menaribus that will serve route 36 through Geneva’s Old Town. Routes 32 and 35 may soon be run electrically, too.
Intelligent charging: General Electric uses elements of AI in its latest charging stations designed to manage EV charging intelligently. Five stations are currently tested at FedEx in New York. The system takes into account holidays, weather, grid load and also “learns” from the building’s past energy use.
