Tesla co-founder Ian Wright is electrifying lorries and heavy duty vehicles with his company Wrightspeed and believes that the electric switch could save companies up to 50,000 dollars in fuel and about 30,000 in maintenance costs in a year.
“It’s going to be very important for consumers to adopt the new technologies, the electrified vehicles, etc. That’s an important part of meeting the country’s goals. And what we’re seeing right now is that they are not adopting at the levels anywhere near what we expected.”
