In January 3,977 electric cars were sold in the U.S., 33,9 percent more than in the same month last year. Plug-in hybrids however, are faced with decreasing sales as they lost 28 percent (2,113 sales in January). The same goes for plug-less hybrids which were down 8.1 percent to 25,312 units.
