China's plug-in production soars.

In China, 25,000 new energy vehicles were produced this June, 10,500 of them fully electric. Production of plug-in hybrids increased sevenfold, now totalling 6,663 units. That brings the total number of new energy vehicles build in China in the first half of this year to 78,500.
