Driving 728.7 km (452.8 mi) on one charge in his Tesla Model S P85D, Norwegian Tesla driver Bjørn Nyland has set a new record. The distance is nearly twice the EPA rate (253 mi). Of course, Nyland had to take his time along the way, driving an average 25 mph.
