EV for emergencies: Honda is readying its Power Exporter for the CEATEC technology show in Japan. The device can connect to any EV or FCV that has a CHAdeMO charging port. The Power Exporter provides up to 9 kilowatts of power for seven days when plugged to Honda’s upcoming FCV. It could thus serve as a backup power source in case of natural disasters.
