Honda & Moixa launch their first V2G project in London

Honda and Moixa have teamed up to launch the first fruit of their pan-European cooperation. Smart chargers with vehicle-to-grid technology have been installed in London’s borough Islington and foretell a future of bi-directional charging via CCS.

Honda introduces hybrid 2020 CR-V

Honda has introduced a hybrid version to the 2020 CR-V  lineup in the USA. This is the first electrified SUV from Honda in the US, and joins the Accord Hybrid and Insight as the third electrified Honda manufactured in the U.S.

Honda has published the prices for its fully electric Honda e: The 100 kW version starts in the UK at £26,160, the 113 kW version at £28,660. To note: Honda has already included the government plug-in bonus in these figures.

Honda’s debut BEV is to be called the Honda e

Honda’s first fully electric production model for the European market will be called “Honda e”. This has now been officially confirmed by the manufacturer. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, the Japanese company presented a series-near version of the electric car as “e Prototype” (previously Urban EV).

Europe: Honda to electrify all vehicles as of 2025

Honda turns its back on diesel in Europe

Honda will also be turning their backs on diesel in Europe, in order to focus more on electric and hybrid vehicle models. Starting in 2021, when the new Civic is released, no more diesel models will be sold in Europe, stated Dave Hodge, Honda’s UK director.
