BYD America Vice President Michael Austin is bullish to bring the Chinese carmaker’s PHEV models like the BYD Qin60 to the States. He believes that performance data like acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in about five seconds would seal the deal. Uptake, however, is slow due to strict regulation.
