EV infrastructure expense: ChargePoint has secured 50m in funding. The money will be used to expand the company’s EV charging station network in the U.S., where it already operates 28,000 charging spots. Siemens and BMW iVentures are among the investors. Meanwhile, competitor EVgo scored a “major investment” from Vision Ridge Partners. Together with funding from NRG, EVgo currently disposes over 100m dollars.
