Smart Siemens HQ: In Munich, Siemens has completed construction of its new company HQ that can accommodate up to 1,200 employees. The building meets the highest environmental standards and all energy comes from renewable sources. The garage offers space for 200 bicycles including a charging station for pedelecs and has another 21 parking lots with EV charge points.

Summer has arrived in Aspen and with it free rides in electric carts. The service is sponsored by the town but “coincides” with increased parking fares and has started as planned. Rides can be booked via app and will be available until September when the skiing season is about to start.

EV navigation: As Route Monkey recently received funding to develop an online portal and app for EV drivers, it teams up with Sygic in order to do so. The partner is a GPS navigation specialist and together with Route Monkey is to make a platform that optimises itineraries for EV fleets.
