Reading tip I: Did the Tesla boom reach its peak in Europe? Figures from the Automotive Industry Data (AID) suggest that Model S sales dropped 23.8 percent in the first seven months of 2016. In the same period last year, 8,443 units were sold. This year, it were only 6,430.

Reading tip II: Other manufactures want to follow in Tesla’s footsteps and set up giant battery factories by 2020. BYD and Contemporary Amperex Technology ere even looking to churn out 34 and 26 GWh per year, which would push the annual global production capacity to 130 GWh.
