Audi engineers train for e-mobility: Development engineers for Audi are back to school to intensify their knowledge of electric machines and drives at Technical University Ingolstadt (THI). The car maker and the university designed specific courses that last three and a half months.

Autonomous hybrid buses: Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore and Nanyang Technological University will start to test self-driving technology in two twelve-metre-long hybrid buses from 2018. The vehicles will serve along fixed routes and carry up to 50 people.

Mail robot: The ‘Last Mile Assistant Robot’ (LaMA) is built to help with parcel delivery and has been developed by students of Bremen University. As a tracked, tiny vehicle it uses the working principle of Mecanum wheels. LaMA also reacts to gestures and will be presented at DHL.
