PEV tax package: Morocco decided to remove customs duties for hybrid and electric vehicles from 2017 as a first step in longer process. A 10 perecnt VAT tax or the introduction of a bonus-malus system are being discussed as well. Morocco will host the COP22 talks in December.

Design cable: Charge Amps officially launched RAY, the temperature-sensing charge cable. It has been designed J. Nordwall from Koenigsegg. The first Ray cables are being sent out in Norway now.

German-Spanish cooperation: Spanish Valladolid and the “Metropolregion” in Lower Saxony are to strengthen their joint e-mobility efforts supported by the EU. Electric buses and delivery vans will run in Valladolid for example. The partners will share a booth at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona from Nov, 15 – 17.

H2 bus prototype testing: The Flint Mass Transportation Authority in Flint, Michigan, started a one year test with a Proterra prototype running on hydrogen. The trial is to show how the bus works in a cold environment in particular as it has only been run in warmer climates.
