Deutz acquires Torqeedo: German engine specialist Deutz takes over Munich-based Torqeedo in order to accelerate the market launch of new electric and hybrid drive systems in the off-highway sector. Torqeedo has been particularly known for finding integrated electric and hybrid drive solutions for boats.
