Lyon is planning 900 charging stations by 2020

The French city of Lyon is planning to expand its’ E-Mobility capacities in the very near future: through a number of competing projects run by various private operators, Lyon is planning to expand their network of public charging stations by 2020 to a total of 900 stations.

The major partners involved, next to the french government, are CNR, Lyon Parc Auto and Bluely. Currently they are running the approximately 300 charging stations in the greater Lyon area, which include 22 quick charging stations.
