EV charging is for babies
In two Dutch primary schools, children are learning a gamified version of EV charging. The charging infrastructure specialist EVBox modified a few of their charging stations to be more child-friendly and safe for this purpose.
Organizers stated that today’s children may never drive a combustion vehicle, and preparing children this way is their duty and responsibility as teachers. It is apparently normal for Dutch playgrounds to feature a fake gasoline pump, making the move quite logical as the world adapts. We wouldn’t want to deprive the kids of all the cool toys, after all.
