Einride presents autonomous lumber truck T-Log

After the autonomous transporter T-Pod, the Swedish startup has now presented another prototype: the T-Log is an autonomous battery-electric vehicle designed for transporting lumber.

The Level 4 autonomous vehicle can carry loads up to 16 tonnes and drive on narrow and uneven forest roads. Pretty useful for hauling lumber. The vehicle will be ready to hit the roads in 2020.

First technical details have also already been announced: The e-transporter is fitted with a 300 kWh battery, and can achieve a range up to 190 km. The price was announced at around $100,000.
