For some time, Ionity has been relying on software and services from the Austrian electromobility provider has·to·be  to expand Ionity’s fast charging network. Now both companies have agreed on long-term cooperation.

According to the Austrians, several of their solutions are being used in Ionity’s growing fast charging network: firstly, the be.ENERGISED software, which was developed to manage charging infrastructures. On the other hand, has·to·be operates the 24/7 hotline and a technical 24/7 operations centre in Salzburg, “so that errors can be rectified quickly and, in many cases, automatically” according to an accompanying press release. This combination is particularly attractive for Ionity.

Both have now fixed a long-term cooperation contract. “We have accompanied Ionity from the very beginning and are very proud to be part of this trend-setting project for the future of mobility in Europe,” says Martin Klässner, head of has·to·be.
