Because we want to emoji that we’re charging

Electrify America has started a campaign and petition at change.org to an “Electric Vehicle With Charger” smart phone keyboard emoji. The Volkswagen subsidiary has put in a formal proposal to the Unicode Consortium, the governing body for emoji creation and started a campaign on change.org.
