The last Tesla Roadster (Vin2500) ever made is on sale

The last Tesla Roadster (VIN2500) to leave the Fremont production lines is now on re-sale. Registered in December 2012 and a collector’s piece from the start, the owner, in a very Swiss move, wants to see 1.39 million francs (about €1.28).

Those not deterred by such folly can expect to find signatures of the Tesla Team on the battery. Besides, the VIN 2500, reads the description, “was never registered, stored on tire pillows on marble floor and has only ca. 200km original mileage from the factory”.

Curiously enough, the seller also compares the Tesla car to a Ferrari 250 GTO in terms of projected collector’s value.
