Elon Musk defends drone pilot on Twitter

A YouTuber complained that security at the Tesla construction site in Texas had forbidden him to take video footage with his drone. Musk responded that he thought his security staff were being “a bit overzealous” since he had given his okay for the recordings.

A similar case also occurred in Grünheide when a teenage drone pilot was banned from flying until Musk intervened.

I’m fine with reasonable drone footage. Just needs to be at a fair distance & not coming right up to people. I think our security was a little overzealous in this case.
