The electric air taxi startup Lilium is short of cash. According to the German magazine Welt am Sonntag, the company has amended its 2019 balance sheet to state that its continued existence is at risk.

Lilium now says that it will run out of money without the upcoming IPO in the US or alternative financing in December 2022.
