VW CEO Diess negatively charged by Ionity

Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess apparently ended up negatively supercharged after a bad experience with the Ionity charging network in which VW has a 20 per cent stake. “This is anything but a premium charging experience, IONITY!” ranted Diess on LinkedIn.

Diess went on to clarify that he had expected better service and amenities: “No WC, no coffee, one pillar out of order/defective, sad affair.” To top it off, this was the second charging park he had visited as the first was fully occupied.
