China has Honda recall 200,000 hybrid cars

China’s State Administration for Market Regulation will have Honda recall almost 200,000 hybrid vehicles the Japanese carmaker produced in alliance with Chinese manufacturers Dongfeng and GAC between 2018 and 2020.

The issue relates to lubricating oil introduced into brake pedal sensors which could cause problems with the sensors over time. The recall will begin on 31 March 2023, according to the authority.
