Hubject and EvGateway sign roaming agreement

Hubject and the charging infrastructure provider EvGateway will collaborate for charging services in North America and Europe. EvGateway will join the Hubject intercharge network as well as using other Hubject services.

By collaborating with Hubject and joining the intercharge network, EvGateway simplifies authentication and authorization processes for its customers, and guarantees full interoperability of its charging solutions. EvGateway offers turnkey solutions for managing electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

By means of the new collaboration and by using Hubject’s Plug&Charge, EvGateway now also meets the minimum standards for federal funding of EV infrastructure set by the US government for creating a national charging station network – such as easy access via roaming.

“We are glad to welcome a strong strategic partner in EvGateway to collaborate with us on the expansion of eRoaming and Plug&Charge in North America and beyond. Together we are building a futureproof eMobility ecosystem based on interoperability and accessibility,” says Trishan Peruma, CEO of Hubject North America.

Reddy Marri, CEO of EvGateway, adds: “Our customers in the United States as well as in international markets including Latin America, Europe, and Asia will benefit from this partnership immensely. We will be able to help accelerate eMobility adoption by creating an easy-to-use charging ecosystem through Hubject’s eRoaming and Plug&Charge offerings.”

The intercharge network now includes more than 500,000 connected charging points operated by over 1,250 B2B partners.
