SemaConnect launches its first home charging station

Charging infrastructure provider SemaConnect, usually in the B2B area, presents its first consumer product, the Series 4 EV Home Charger. The company has opened the order books for the Level 2 charging station and expects shipping to start in December.

Allego to install 120 HPC chargers at Van der Valk hotels

Allego has expanded its partnership with the Van der Valk hotel chain and will install 120 new fast chargers at more than 50 hotels in Belgium and the Netherlands from the end of this year. These will primarily be DC charging points in different power classes.

Iberdrola networks with Leroy Merlin and First Stop

The Spanish energy supplier Iberdrola has concluded two further cooperations for the development of charging infrastructure. 400 charging points are planned at branches of the DIY chain Leroy Merlin in Spain and more than 50 charging points in cooperation with First Stop in Spain and Portugal.

Total to install 11,000 public charge points in China

Total is to build a charging network in China. Through a 50:50 joint venture with the state-owned utility China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), more than 11,000 public charging points with 60 to 120 kW are to be installed in Hubei province by 2025.

15,000 charging stations to roll out in India

In India, the EV charging infrastructure company Evre and parking solutions brand Park+ have announced their partnership to install 10,000 EV charging stations within two years. In a separate deal, the state-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) plans to commission 5,000 electric vehicle charging stations over the next three years.

In Vienna and Graz, the ‘eTaxi Austria Project’ is starting a large-scale test run to test a new type of charging-pad charging technology over the next two years. Shell to finance Ubitricity charge points in the UK

Shell is to install 50,000 Ubitricity charging points in the UK by 2025. The transitioning oil producer acquired the Berlin-based charging infrastructure specialist Ubitricity earlier this year. Shell says it will assume part of the costs for the new charging points.

NatWest bank to install 600 chargers by 2023

The British National Westminster Bank (NatWest) wants to install 600 charging points at its locations by 2023. The charging points will also be available for use by the bank’s customers. The contract to supply the charging infrastructure goes to the Engie brand Equans.

Rivian to install Waypoint chargers at all Tennessee Parks
