Ireland to subsidise 1,000 charging stations

Germany: Shell to set-up 50 HPC stations this year

Shell is starting to build high power chargers at its gas stations in Germany. This year, the oil company plans to build 50 charging stations across the country, with a total of 100 charging points and a capacity of at least 150 kilowatts. Further charging stations are to follow.

JLR installs 166 NewMotion charging points

Jaguar Land Rover has had NewMotion (Shell) install 166 charging points at their development centre in Gaydon. The 7 kW chargers are ready for employee use. JLR will also install charging stations in the Gaydon visitor car park and later at other locations in the UK.

NewMotion now counts 100,000 charger network
