E.ON & Contipark to install 4,000 wallboxes
In Germany and Austria, the parking operator Contipark and the energy company E.ON want to install more than 4,000 new charging points in car parks and underground garages between 2023 and 2025. The project will involve AC wall boxes with an output of up to 22 kW.

Vattenfall to install chargers at NH Hotels in Germany

TPA to run Toronto’s burgeoning charging network

Sydney moves forward with electric buses

Recharge to enable card payments for Nordic charging

Audi to create an exclusive charging network in China
Audi has just announced the construction of fast-charging stations in Chinese cities with up to 360 kW of power. Cyprus funds public charge points
The government of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus is funding the construction of 1,000 public charging stations for electric vehicles with 3.7 million euros. The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase has a budget of 1.85 million euros, for which applications can be submitted until 31 January 2023.

Tesco halts free-charging offer at store car parks
In the UK, as of 1 November, Tesco will start charging electric vehicle drivers to use all types of charge points at its grocery stores. Cooperation partner Pod Point did not mention rising energy costs, saying only that the revenues will be used to meet charge point roll-out targets by next year.

Luxembourg is funding 29 charging infrastructure projects
In Luxembourg, the government is funding the construction of 672 additional charging points for electric cars, 44 of which are fast chargers, with more than 4.5 million euros. A total of 29 projects from 19 companies have now been selected as part of the first call for funding.
