USA: Mullen to deliver 1,000 electric trucks to Randy Marion Automotive

The US commercial vehicle dealer group Randy Marion Automotive (RMA) has ordered 1,000 electric trucks from Mullen Automotive. Deliveries are scheduled to begin as early as August.

Specifically, the order is for the Mullen Three, a Class 3 low cab forward EV truck. According to Mullen, bodies of up to 4 metres and a payload of up to around 2.6 tonnes can be easily mounted on the chassis.

The deal is worth $63 million, according to the manufacturer. That corresponds to just under €57 million. In December 2022, RMA member Randy Marion Isuzu had already ordered 6,000 electric vans from Mullen.

“Randy Marion continues to set the bar for commercial EV dealerships in the U.S. We are proud to be working alongside RMA in getting Mullen’s commercial EVs, starting with our Class 1 and Class 3 EVs, out to our commercial customers”, says David Michery, CEO and chairman of Mullen Automotive.

Mullen’s range of commercial electric vehicles includes Class 1 cargo vans and Class 3 cab chassis, as well as Class 4-6 chassis prodcucts from Bollinger Motors. The commercial vehicles are produced at the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Center (AMEC) in Mississippi, USA.
