Krause, however, will remain with the company as a strategic advisor, according to the announcement. He is stepping back from day-to-day operations as the manufacturer “advances into the next chapter of productivity-enhancing electric fleet solutions”, it said.

In his new role as CEO, Bruno Lambert will “lead the next phase of team development, including the announcement and unveiling of B-ON’s new generation of all-electric vehicles”. The first of these new electric vehicles will be shown as a prototype at the Japan Mobility Show.

Lambert knows B-ON well, described in the announcement as “the driving force behind B–ON’s inception in 2020.” Until becoming CEO, he served as COO and president, “developing an unparalleled understanding of the company’s technology and capabilities.” As a former chief operating officer, he will know the day-to-day operations well. “I am deeply honoured by the trust the Board has placed in me and I want to thank Stefan for all his contributions to our company,” says Lambert.

“I am proud of what we have achieved together at B–ON,” says Krause. I look forward to my new role, supporting Bruno and the team as we pursue new opportunities and drive continued success for our customers, employees, and stakeholders.”

As reported, the German B-ON GmbH had filed for insolvency, but other international companies of B-ON are not affected.
