ChargeHub and Parkopedia join forces on charging in USA and Canada

Parking service provider Parkopedia is partnering with North American EV roaming hub operator ChargeHub.

ChargeHub’s network of 80,000 charging stations across the US and Canada are now to be integrated into Parkopedia’s payment platform. This will enable in-car charger activations and payments via a single sign-on account on participating Charge Site Operators (CSOs).

The partnership between the two companies provides drivers with direct access through their vehicles to charging points across North America, including Parkopedia’s information on parking and charging, dynamic availability data and charging transactions for EV drivers.

In 2022, in a deal expanding charging networks in USA and Canada, roaming integration between SWTCH Energy and the Electric Circuit was enabled by ChargeHub’s Passport Hub solution.

ChargeHub CEO, Simon Ouellette, said: We are proud to be able to offer EV drivers an improved charging experience by combining Parkopedia’s parking and charging data with our roaming hub. Once again, this agreement shows that ChargeHub is the preferred partner for eMSPs looking for a full turnkey integration to the largest pool of CSOs in the US and Canada.”

According to Parkopedia, ChargeHub offers the largest ‘roaming hub’ in North America. In Europe, Parkopedia partnered with Plugsurfing in mid-2023.
