Leapmotor wants to reach price-sensitive buyers in particular. This is supported by the relatively low prices, starting at 128,800 yuan, equivalent to around 16,500 euros. Outside of China, sales of the C10 will begin in the third quarter of 2024. As reported, in Europe, Leapmotor’s electric cars could be produced by Stellantis.

The C10 measures 4,739 x 1,900 x 1,680 millimetres with a wheelbase of 2,825 millimetres. The BEV version is powered by an electric motor with a peak output of 170 kW and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. The battery options available are 52.9 kWh for a range of 410 kilometres according to the Chinese cycle or 69.9 kWh for 530 km.

As a range extender variant – EREV for short – the C10 comes with an additional 1.5-litre engine as a range extender. The battery pack then shrinks to 28.4 kWh for 210 km, according to CLTC.

The C10 joins the existing T03, C01 and C11 models at Leapmotor. According to the manufacturer, these will receive an update, and their prices will also be reduced.
