Four of the twelve new locations are in Canada; three are located in Ontario and one is in Quebec. The company also added eight new locations in the US – one each in Maine, Michigan, Montana, Tennesee, Texas, and California, and two in the US state of Wisconsin.

The certified dealerships “provide comprehensive sales and service support for Mack’s growing electric vehicle lineup,” says the manufacturer. It adds that dealers must invest in EV infrastructure and technical training to be added to the list. “Many certified locations have also established dedicated EV support teams to assist customers with route planning, charging strategies and accessing available incentives,” says Mack Trucks.

“The continued expansion of our certified EV dealership network demonstrates our commitment, and our dealers’ commitment, to a sustainable future,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “Together with our Mack dealers, we help make this possible by offering customers support from the purchase of the vehicle, seeking of incentives, infrastructure readiness and training to help them better acclimate to the new technology and to further the adoption of EV vehicles.”

Mack Trucks, which belongs to the Volvo Group, has two electric vehicles in its line-p for the North American market: the Mack LR Electric, a vocational refuse truck, which has been in production since 2021, and the  Mack MD Electric, available in Class 6 and Class 7 ratings. The former comes with a 376 kWh battery pack, while the latter can be configured with 150 or 240 kWh battery packs.

The company emphasises that it also offers “comprehensive financing solutions through Mack Financial Services,” which includes the ‘ElectriFi Subscription‘ programme for MD models, bundled payments for vehicles, charging infrastructure and maintenance, as well the ‘Ultra Service Agreement,’ which covers complete vehicle support for LR Electric models.
