GATE stands for Green & Advanced Transport Ecosystem and was founded by Iveco in July 2023 as a wholly owned subsidiary. With the entry of DLL, the provider now has a new joint venture structure – subject to regulatory approvals – which ‘provides GATE with a stronger financial backbone and expertise in asset financing’, according to the Iveco Group. This is crucial for accelerating the growth strategy and the further development and expansion of the company.

GATE’s business model is based on a pay-per-use model for the eDaily. The company describes itself as a pioneer in long-term rental of emission-free commercial vehicles.” The GATE offering comprises three different packages, each offering different and graduated services: from maintenance and repair to tax and registration management to telematics-supported services, including fleet management. After its foundation in 2023, the provider initially launched in Italy, but has since expanded to France and Germany.
