The e-mopeds will be used to deliveries in several different regions of Croatia, including Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Zadar, and Bjelovar. It means that Hrvatska Pošta’s electric fleet will include a total of 619 vehicles, spanning e-bikes, quadricycles, cars, light delivery vehicles and small semi-trucks. It first began building this fleet with the acquisition of 180 e-bikes in 2015, followed by the purchase of 20 e-quadricycles in 2019.

The postal service itself operates a network of 77 charging hubs across 20 Croatian cities, which with a total of 123 charging points are used to support its electric fleet. The vast majority of these are AC chargers with 22 kW capacity, which suggests that many of them are used for overnight charging.

Hrvatska Pošta has added that it reduced its total emissions by 11,600 tons last year, roughly 18 per cent in total. It attributes this to the electrification of its fleet as well as improved energy efficiency and logistics processes.
