Monta enters fleet charging partnership with Octopus
In short, Monta Hub is designed to give fleet managers comprehensive visibility and control over charging. It combines billing, analytics, diagnostic and optimisation tools into a single platform for fleet managers to use. On their website, Monta claim that they provide “…end-to-end operational control over every charge point, across any location” and promises to “manage every aspect of fleet operations centrally”.
The new partnership will also see Monta provide support to the ‘Octopus Fleet’ range of products, including Octopus’ new Business Payment Card. Octopus states that the introduction of Monta Hub into the Electroverse will “simplify the management of chargers, users, payments, and energy consumption for fleets of all sizes.
Casper Rasmussen, CEO of Monta, said: “As fleets move towards electrification, the need for a reliable, scalable, and intelligent charging infrastructure is critical. Being selected by Octopus Electroverse as a CPMS partner further affirms Monta’s ability to support fleets of every size, and it’s only the beginning of our journey together.”
Rasmussen added: “By integrating our charge point management software with Octopus’ powerful fleet and energy services, we’re giving operators a complete ecosystem that can grow with them; whether they’re managing a handful of vehicles or a pan-European fleet”.
Monta was founded in 2020 and has grown rapidly in recent years. Last year, the company received 80 million euros from investors and began its expansion into the US. Among other things, its platform supports hardware manufacturers in optimising their products by enabling benchmarking of charging stations, providing insights into usage and performance and shortening the time from troubleshooting to maintenance.
