Suncoast Charging opens first third-party Supercharger site in Florida
Tesla began selling its Superchargers to third-party U.S. companies in the second half of 2025. This enables other companies to purchase Tesla Superchargers as a white label solution and brand them with their own logo. Tesla then provides the hardware, software and support to turn car parks into fast charging stations. Suncoast is Tesla’s first client for what is called the ‘Supercharger for Business’ program.
The Suncoast charging hubs are compatible with most electric car models, as Superchargers now support most electric car brands in the United States with both CCS and NACS port accessibility. Beyond the newly operational Land O’Lakes site in Bexley, Florida, the company has installed four fast chargers at Wesley Chapel in Lexington Oaks, also in Florida.
On LinkedIn, Suncoast posts, “At Suncoast Charging, we’re building stations where life already happens — near your favourite coffee spots, grocery runs, and weekend stops. Proudly Florida-owned. Built for convenience, community, and cleaner energy.”
The company’s Supercharger site is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and accepts a “variety of different payment methods.” More than just convenience stores, the Suncoast Charging sites are located adjacent to different eateries, including businesses called Banh mi & boba, Balla Brava, Bengaluru cafe, and, among other businesses, a beer and billiards pool location called Spanky’s Place.
Superchargers sold to third parties appear on the Tesla app and other charging location apps that support Supercharger live activity. “We treat your site like we treat our sites,” Tesla says. Suncoast states on its website, “While we proudly utilise Tesla V4 hardware, Suncoast Charging is an independent company with no formal affiliation or partnership with Tesla.”
Carmakers selling in the USA are increasingly making their vehicles compatible with the NACS charging standard. Most recently, earlier this month, the Stellantis Group opened up to the NACS charging system and is equipping Jeep and Dodge electric models for the US, Canada, Japan and South Korea with the appropriate connectors. This will allow customers to access Tesla’s Supercharger network.
