Vallée Transports adds three eActros 600 trucks to its fleet

The French Vallée Group is relying on the eActros 600 for the drive system transition within the company. Three models produced by Mercedes-Benz Trucks are currently being added to the logistics company's fleet. At the same time, a new charging station is being connected to the grid at the company's headquarters.

Vallée Transports is a Norman company with around 850 employees and a fleet of 650 vehicles. The logistics company is based west of Paris in La Madeleine-de-Nonancourt. With three new eActros 600s, German-made electric trucks are now being added to the fleet. For the sake of completeness, however, it should be mentioned that Vallée has also ordered 62 new diesel trucks from Mercedes-Benz Trucks at the same time.

The first eActros 600 arrived at the Vallée Group around a month and a half ago, with the other two units to follow before the end of the year. The electric trucks are charged at a newly installed charging infrastructure at the company’s headquarters. This comprises four charging points, including a 400 kW fast charging point and three connections, each with a capacity of 240 kW.

Thanks to this depot charging system, the eActros 600 trucks will be used at Vallée in double-shift operation. On the LinkedIn network, the company states that it aims to achieve an annual mileage of over 120,000 kilometers with the electric trucks.
