Plug Charging will integrate all newly acquired charge points into its operational platform. The sites will transition to Plug’s management, monitoring and support model, including 24/7 driver support, proactive fault monitoring, remote diagnostics and access to the Plug Charging driver app. The company says the integration will bring enhanced uptime and performance standards to the sites under its stewardship.

The acquisition forms part of Plug Charging’s wider investment programme across Wales, the wider UK and Ireland, with a stated focus on public sector delivery, destination charging and fleet electrification. With the addition of the 350 charge points, Plug Charging expands its operational footprint in two maturing EV markets, reinforcing its position in destination and public sector charging infrastructure.

The agreement covers sites located at transport hubs, NHS and health board facilities, holiday parks, retail parks, hospitality venues and hotels. According to the company, the assets are situated at high-demand destinations serving commuters, fleets, visitors and local communities.

Jarrad Morris, Founder and CEO of Plug Charging, described the deal as a step-change for the business. “This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Plug and accelerates our growth across both the UK and Ireland,” he said. “It strengthens our network with a high-quality portfolio of assets in locations where charging reliability and user experience genuinely matter.”

“We are pleased to be transferring our UK and Ireland charge point estate to Plug Charging, a business that has demonstrated strong operational capability and a clear commitment to driver experience and asset performance,” said Andreas Strand, CEO of Wattif EV AS. “Plug’s focus on reliability, proactive management and long-term stewardship aligns well with the standards we set for these sites. We are confident that site partners and drivers will benefit from the transition and from Plug’s investment in service quality and network performance.”
