Toyota has presented the all-electric 2026 bZ Woodland as the latest addition to its BEV line-up in the United States. The SUV features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a net combined output of 276 kW, making it the most powerful model in the bZ range to date.

The model will arrive at US dealerships in March 2026 with a starting MSRP of $45,300, excluding fees. The vehicle uses a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 281 miles. Toyota estimates a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 4.4 seconds.

Models fitted with optional all-terrain tyres achieve an estimated 260 miles. The bZ Woodland comes equipped with a North American Charging System (NACS) port and supports DC fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes under ideal conditions. An 11 kW on-board charger enables AC charging, and a dual-voltage home charging cable is supplied as standard.

Toyota has integrated battery pre-conditioning to optimise charging performance. The function can be activated manually or automatically when navigating to a fast-charging station. The model also supports Plug & Charge capability on selected networks.

“With its standard 375-hp net combined system output, the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain makes the bZ Woodland the most powerful bZ yet,” Toyota states. The SUV combines its electric drivetrain with 8.4 inches of ground clearance and a towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs, positioning it as a utility-focused BEV.

Based on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform, the bZ Woodland offers 74.3 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded. Standard equipment includes a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, dual wireless charging pads and a suite of connected services. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 driver assistance systems are also fitted as standard.
