Mahle and Valeo cooperate on electric motor development

Valeo and Mahle are jointly expanding their product portfolios for magnet-free electric motors (electrically excited synchronous machine, EESM). Specifically, the two suppliers want to develop an electric axle system with an output of up to 350 kW.
