All electric Caddy on the way: Cadillac’s new CEO Johan de Nysschen confirmed that a successor to the ELR is being developed and that a plug-in hybrid version of the new CT6 sedan will be offered in late 2015. He also said that a pure electric car is part of the plan to expand Cadillac’s model range.

Details on Tesla’s big D: The new Model S P85D with dual motor setup will put out a whopping 508 kW and 931 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, while top speed sits at 155 mph. The D package costs an additional $14,600 for the P85 version, the “Tech Package with Autopilot” adds another $4,250. First deliveries of the P85D will start in December.
