Australian government funds fast-charger expansion

On behalf of the Australian government, the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has awarded funding totaling 24.55 million Australian dollars (roughly 15,2 million euros) to five providers to build a total of 403 new fast-charging stations.

Chargefox partners with Yurika for electric highway

The Australian EV charging network operator Chargefox is partnering with Yurika to manage the fast-charging sites that are the Queensland Electric Super Highway. They have also opened the “most powerful EV charging station in the southern hemisphere”.

Australia: Chargefox deploying Tritium HPC chargers

Australia’s high power charging specialist Tritium has teamed up with network operator Chargefox to fit a charging site in Brisbane with two Tritium Veefill PK 350kW chargers, accompanied by a 50kW DC Veefil-RT fast charger, also from Tritium.

Chargefox setting up HPC network in Australia

Australia is set to receive another HPC network with charging performance available from 150 to 350 kW. This one will be set up by the Australian startup Chargefox, who is planning to set up 21 locations in the first phase, for which it may generate up to 15 million dollars.
