Pennsylvania under fire for funding diesel
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced that 34 cleaner energy projects would receive $8.5 million from the state’s share of the Dieselgate settlement with Volkswagen. According to critics, however, much of the money is going to fund new diesel vehicles.

Research tip: Transport & Environment finds most diesel cars on the road in Europe to be severely harmful. Most of 29m diesel vehicles emit far higher NOx emissions than permitted under Euro 6. The French drive dirty diesels the most (5.5 Mio) followed by Germany (5.3 Mio).

DIY diesel scandal.
The festive season is (almost) upon us and kicks off with halloween. A website got particularly creative as it puts out a manual on how to make one’s own dieselgate costume that involves a gas mask, fuel canister and lots of fumes. Pretty outrageous!
