USA Tesla deposit now 100 dollars

Tesla now only requires a deposit of 100 dollars when customers order their electric cars in the USA. However, if the order is cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded. Also new are the prices for Tesla’s Model 3.

Tesla narrowly misses 100k deliveries in Q3

Tesla delivered around 97,000 electric cars in the third quarter, including 79,600 Model 3, as well as 17,400 Model S and Model X. Although the Californians failed to meet their their target of 100,000 deliveries, they still achieved yet another record quarter.

Tesla takes aim for 100,000 Q3 deliveries

Tesla could deliver more than 100,000 electric cars for the first time this quarter. This was indicated by Elon Musk in an e-mail to employees. It has also been announced that production of the Model 3 will start at the Tesla plant in Shanghai on October 14.

Tesla has too few accidents to analyse

Every year the Swedish Folksam insurance publishes a study with the statistically safest cars in the country. Tesla did not qualify for the list this year as its cars were only involved in seven accidents – too few for a valid risk analysis, according to the insurance company.

Tesla is now offering the promised CCS adapters for Model S and Model X. The Tesla website for Germany states that all models manufactured since 1 May have the necessary on-board electrical equipment to be charged via a CCS adapter on CCS charging stations.

Tesla Superchargers charging with up to 150 kW

Tesla is getting more capacity out of their second generation superchargers with a little more power than previously known. An increase in power from 120 kW to 145 kW was announced in March, but a spokesperson has now said that the upgrade will even enable 150 kW peak power.
