Zeekr completes 10,000th 001 BEV
Only about three months after the start of production, Geely’s premium electric brand Zeekr has reported the production of the 10,000th unit of its debut BEV 001. In addition, further details about the production technology at the Ningbo plant have been revealed.

Zeekr prepares to launch deliveries of the 001
Geely’s premium electric brand Zeekr has started production of its debut model presented in April in the eastern Chinese region of Ningbo. The first deliveries of the Zeekr 001 have already been announced for 23 October.

Mercedes & Geely joint venture for Smart ready to go
The China joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely around Smart announced at the end of March last year has now been formally established with all relevant final approvals from Chinese authorities. The first electric Smart cars made in China are to be launched on the market in 2022.

The team designed an interfacial architecture and say their design approach can be used as a generic route for synthesising sulfide-based all-solid-state lithium batteries.
