Stellantis ramps up fuel cell transporter production

Stellantis has announced that it will now build hydrogen-powered fuel cell versions of the light commercial vehicles of the Peugeot, Citroën and Opel brands in series at a plant in France. Until now, the fuel cell vans were only available in a small series.

Seat receives almost half of Spain’s PERTE grant

Spain’s Ministry of Industry has made public the distribution of state aid for the first call of the eMobility funding programme PERTE. In total, the government is distributing 877.2 million euros to ten funding recipients – almost 300 million euros more than previously planned.

Peugeot reveals details to the electric 308 and 308 SW

Peugeot has officially confirmed all-electric versions for the 308 and its estate offshoot, the 308 SW. The duo will be on the market from mid-2023 and, as expected, will have a new electric motor on board. Royal Mail rolls out 43 zero emission delivery vans

The British post service Royal Mail has replaced the entire fleet with electric vans at its delivery office in Leighton Buzzard, a town in Bedfordshire, England. 43 new EVs will charge at twelve charging columns Royal Mail installed on site. The acquisition is part of the company’s plan to increase the number of EVs tenfold.

After Opel presented the fuel cell version of its Vivaro van model called Vivaro-e Hydrogen a few days ago, Peugeot now presents its e-Expert Hydrogen. This takes over the technology and is thus also supposed to offer a range of over 400 km according to WLTP.

Guardia di Finanza rents 30 Peugeot e-208

The Italian financial and customs police have ordered 30 Peugeot e-208s. A first electric car painted in the official colours of the “Guardia di Finanza” is on free loan and has already been handed over. The other electric cars will be rented on a long-term basis.
