Vertical Aerospace shares take-off since listing on NYSE
Britain’s electric air taxi startup Vertical Aerospace made its debut on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday after a blank-check SPAC deal valued at $2.2 billion got the go-ahead. It injects the company with 300 million in cash and has Vertical Aerospace looking to set up shop, perhaps in Ireland.

Marubeni & Vertical Aerospace plan to launch VTOL service in Japan
UK-based eVOTL start-up Vertical Aerospace is partnering with Japanese trading company Marubeni to bring its VA-X4 electric vertical take-off aircraft to Japan. Marubeni has also signed an intention to purchase up to 200 units of Vertical’s electric aircraft as part of the deal.

Vertical Aerospace announces 1,000 air taxi orders
The British eVTOL start-up Vertical Aerospace announces pre-orders for a total of 1,000 of its electric aerial taxis. In this context, the company also announces that it is seeking an IPO via SPAC and has received commitments from Microsoft, American Airlines, Avolon, Honeywell and Rolls-Royce.
