Study tip: Research institute Dr. Grieger & Cie. monitored 4,038 Germans and their buying and riding behaviour for bicycles. While 11% consider buying an e-bike next time, over 40% of those only want to spend around 800 euros (1,100 dollars) – too little for most e-bikes currently available on the market. Still, the study expects sales of 400,000 pedelecs this year.
