In total, 5,693 EVs were sold in July in the States, almost twice as many as in the same month last year (+42.5%). Plug-in hybrid sales were growing too, with 5,740 units sold, a plus of 64%. In Europe, Norway remains strong with 1,497 EVs sold. There, for the first time, the VW e-Golf takes the lead (480) with the Nissan Leaf (313) and the e-Up (200) following on second and third.
